Today i learn how to make Satay Daging. It was great to learn although it needs a lots of passion. It all started when i was thinking to make one..and give it a try. It was a tough experience *not that tough but okey for a start. It was challenging because u have to put the beef (sliced) into the wooden stick. oh god..! it was so tiring siting on the floor for about 2hours..my legs cramps! hahaa.... (the beef, i've marinate for about 1 day before u could put it into the stick, and get the taste of the 'beef satay')
Lots of herbs and spices makes the satay more tastier and delicious....after the next day...we start burning the coal to roast it. huhu...can't wait.. :) Until my eyes get sore because of the smoke was cruel :) haha....Here we go!Burning the satay and keep on 'kipas' the smoke...oh god! i'm sweating! all over my body & face in a hot sunny day.. It was a good exercise!...I wonder how the satay maker could do all this for a living? My mum said, "Ein, its a good try that u know how hard the satay maker earn this for they living"...If one satay cost for RM0.40-RM0.50 it is worth for the price. Thanks mum, u give me a great experience doing satay for 2 days... it was 97stick.. Even though I am tired, but it is worth it because I am trying to make it. Dare to make and dare to taste hahaahha.... enjoy
